Description
"Walnut Cluster veneers are those which are obtained from the bottom most
parts of walnut tree trunks, which grow underground. To obtain this valuable
part of these trees the trunks must not be sawn above the ground but have to
be dug out. A dark brown color with many swirly cross figures, mottling and
small expressive burls. This species is produced from the grafting of the
American Black and the English Brown Walnut, grown especially in the Pacific
Northwest."
